Will Roger's Follies Gem Dresses
With 3 fabrics for each of 7 dresses all modeled after precious stones, I had three weeks to design and build gowns for the production of Will Roger's Follies. I worked under the direction of Catherine Zublin, but basically had free rein with my design.
Jewel Dresses
Each of the Erte inspired gowns were completely draped and constnructed by me during the build process. For each Dress I was given 3 fabrics to work with, a velvet/velour, a sequin lace, and another fabric of a similar color. Draping these three together to create different and visually interesting as well as flattering gowns was my challenge for this project.
