Almost Maine

Almost Maine follows the relationships of the people living in the unorganized territory that they call Almost. Each scene features different characters falling into love, or out of it. Through each scene the characters make discoveries about themselves and their counterparts. They find themselves in strange situations that are truly unique, but they are seemingly unfased by them.

The scenes have an almost cutsey feel within the text, though the playwrite specifies within his notes that the characters are very real people, and far from stylized or cute. In many instances the characters seemed to be very pedestrian and run of the mill, though each characters clothes told exactly who they were, where they were from, and where they were going.
